My Favorite Part

I love the great tie-in with the Giants. The baseball team didn't just slap their name on the race but most elements of the race are consistent with the Giants brand. Finishing at AT&T Park is always a kick and there is nothing better than finishing a long run on the AT&T grass. I think of it as a 'must run' San Francisco race.

Recommended Changes

Since the Giants have won championships the race has become increasingly crowded. I would recommend adjusting the corrals as 3rd and King is a zoo at the start of the race. I would also go back to offering half marathon runners a different t-shirt.

Tips for Future Participants

Get to park early, wear your orange and black and have a great time!

This was my first race ever and I am so glad I chose it as my first since I am a very much die hard giants fan. What other race allows you to hang out at att park? This is the standard of how to do a race. You get a technical shirt, a bobble head and a medal. Such awesomeness if you are a Giants fan.

Post race there was plenty of refueling stations and plenty of room to roam around the park and meet up with family and friends. Lots of sponsors. lot of booths with all kinds of awesome stuff and future races.

Just go out and enjoy!

It is on my list to do again!

My friends are huge Giants fans so I joined them for this race - it was a fun one! I enjoyed it, but because I am not a really big baseball fan, I would probably not do this one again. You do get discounted tickets to a baseball game, so that was great - my friends and I took advantage of that registration perk. The tech tee was really nice, too.

The bathrooms were a little limited at the start line, and the race corrals got kind of crowded and jam-packed. That was the only downside to the start of the race.

After the race, getting to be on the field at AT&T Park was super fun! The atmosphere was great and they had a lot of snacks after the race, which was nice.
